What if things were different?
What if she had stayed?
"What if" are the best words
to go and write away...

"Love me, fear me, do as I say and I will be your slave", Jareth said, holding the crystall ball up.
Sarah peered at him. Her eyes examined his jaw, his eyes, his lips and his hair. She didn't want to but his extraordinary and exotic beauty had her in its captivity.
"You..." she mutterd, trying to look away. "You have no power over me."
His mouth dropped and she felt him trying to hold back tears. But that moment didn't last long.
"I fear I do, my dear Sarah" he smiled with his amazing curvy smile, "I can't bring you back."
"What?" Sarah shouted shocked.
"You heard me. You have to choose now, Sarah, you or your brother", he said.
She crossed her arms and tapped her foot, waiting for him to go on.
"I have enough magic to bring only one of you back. Who wil that be?"
Emotions rushed through her. At first, she thought he was joking. But his serious expression changed her mind. Then appeard panic. She had to choose between her own life and the life of her brother. Who had to go home, alone? Sarah waited. She thought the answer woudld appear on its own in her mind. That she'd know what's right. But, as always, life didn't tell her what to do. She was alone. If she went back, who would she come back to? The father, who didn't care for her or her stepmother that hated her guts?
"Bring him back, Goblin King. Bring Toby back to them." she wispered.
Her shoulders fell and a single sparkling tear rolled down her cheek. Jareth stared to walk away to fulfill her wish but stopped before her and placed his hand under her chin. Lifting it up, he peered in her eyes.
"Don't worry, my precious. I'll take care of you well." Jareth said to her with a comforting smile.
She noded and looked away.
"Hogwart will show you to your room", he said with an even tone.
"Hoggle."Sarah tried to correct him but he was gone.
Amazing twist, by the by. I'm excited to see what happens next.
